Goal 13 - Action Against Global Climate Change
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
Móveis JB Bechara works towards this goal by acting as follows:
We improved the education of our employees through the creation of a sustainability committee, increasing awareness and human and institutional capacity on mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning of climate change.
We idealized the Reforestation Project of the Nascente do Rio "Jataí" that crosses our municipality, with the participation of students from the municipal education network. Thus promoting a class of environmental education and sustainability.
The actions mentioned above fall within the points:
13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptability to climate-related risks and natural disasters in all countries
13.3 Improve education, raise awareness and human and institutional capacity on mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning of climate change
